will circulate details of shipping procedures and customs
regulations to all exhibitors; please contact them for details.
Insurance:
It is the EXHIBITORS RESPONSIBILILTY to ensure that their
exhibits are covered by adequate insurance cover for the shipment
+ duration, re-packing and re-exporting from the exhibition.
Security:
24 hour security is provided by the organizers during the
show. However, exhibitors are advised to take adequate precautions
and ensure that all articles and valuable items are insured.
The organizers will not be responsible for the safety of articles
or any kind brought into the exhibition hall by the exhibitors,
their staff or any person whatsoever.
Saudi
Customs & Prayer Time:
Exhibitors shall observe and abide by the laws and customs
of Saudi Arabia. Exhibitors must respect the Kingdom’s
regulations during prayer time. All activities at the exhibition
center should be stopped during prayer intervals.
Stand
Personnel:
The organizer points out that WOMEN are not allowed to work
on exhibition stands.
Exhibitors’
Passes:
Exhibitors and their staff will be issued passes, which must
be worn at all times, during before and after the exhibition.
Show
Catalogue:
The show catalogue will be printed in English and Arabic and
will contain general exhibition information, a layout plan
of the stands, an entry of 50 words from each exhibitor, a
product index, exhibitor’s complete contact information
and advertisements.
Exhibitor’s attention
is drawn to the advantages to be gained from advertising in
the catalogue, which will be retained by visitors and used
as a source of reference for many months after the show. For

The Venue:
The events will be held at the Jeddah
Hilton, the most luxurious hotel in Jeddah, and the venue
of the largest conference organized recently in the Kingdom,
namely: The Jeddah Economic Forum and Advista Arabia.
Transportation:
Automobile rental companies provide self-driven cars or cars
with a chauffeur. Please contact the organizer for the official
car rental.
Credit
Cards:
Visitors will find that many credit cards viz. Master Card,
Visa Card, American Express, Diners Club are accepted in larger
establishments.
Currency:
Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank. The monetary
unit is the Saudi Riyal (SR) and the average exchange rate
is 1US$=3.75 SR.
Air Travel:
Jeddah is well connected with all the major cities of the
world, thanks to a wide selection of Airlines serving Jeddah’s
King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Accommodation:
Jeddah is well provided with hotels of international standards.
However, exhibitors are recommended to reserve at any stage
directly or through their travel agent or apply for the organizer’s
list of hotels.
Bus service:
A courtesy bus service will operate between the main hotels
and the exhibition center.
Visa
requirements:
All foreign visitors to Saudi Arabia need a valid entry to
the Kingdom. Visitors should be obtain a business visa before
traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, except travelers
holding passports from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and U.A.E.
please allow 10 weeks for processing. Contact us for more
details. Visas are granted at the discretion of the Saudi
authorities and assistance is given on the understanding that
the organizers cannot be held responsible if the visa application
is unsuccessful.
Important:
please not the following points:
a) By resolution of the Arab League, so Arab state recognizes
the validity of a passport containing Israeli stamps.
b) Visas are required by all the visitors with the exception
of travelers holding passports from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman,
Qatar, and U.A.E.
c) Visas can be obtained from the Saudi Arabian Embassies/Saudi
Consulates abroad on getting from the organizer a copy of
the visa/ visa number issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Please contact the organizer to obtain visa application form.
In countries where there is no Saudi Arabian diplomatic representative,
exhibitors should contact the organizers.
d) Women are not permitted to participate in exhibitions.
Therefore, no entry visas can be applied and will be issued
for them.
e) No visas will be issued to unskilled workers and children
to participate in exhibitions.
f) Current Government regulations for obtaining a Saudi Business
visa for participants at trade shows.
Health:
Although vaccinations are not mandatory, it is recommended
for the exhibitors to be inoculated against typhoid, cholera
and tetanus.
Telecommunications:
An international telephone and telefax service is available
from the Business Center. Also from telephones, cellular phones
and fax machines to video conferencing and Internet access.
You can rent equipment to fit your every technical requirement.

Restaurant:
A fast food and beverage service is available at the cafeteria
located at the exhibition.
Parking:
Ample car parking facilities are available adjacent to the
exhibition center.
Seminars/Conferences:
For all phases of trade fair planning,
implementation and follow up, conference room and facilities
will be made available upon request.
